Kelsey joined the School of Social Work as an Administrative Assistant III in the fall of 2024. In her role, she is responsible for managing the department's budget, helping coordinate hiring for faculty, staff, and students, and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the department. 

Before joining the university, Kelsey spent three years as an office administrator for a real estate company in San Marcos, where she honed her administrative skills and gained significant experience in managing office operations.  

Kelsey also has a background in mental health, having earned her master’s degree in Applied Psychology (Clinical Track) from Lamar University. This knowledge provides her with a broader perspective in her current role, particularly when working in a school focused on social work and community impact.
