Child Welfare Partnership Faculty & Staff

The Title IV-E Child Welfare Partnership faculty and staff work collaboratively with the School of Social Work at Texas State University and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to assist students with the application process and ensure the success of the students in the program. Dr. Mijin Choi: As the Principal Investigator, Dr. Choi is responsible for oversight of the program, curriculum development, and program evaluation. She also serves as an informal academic mentor to students in the Title IV-E Child Welfare Partnership program. You can reach Dr. Choi at m_c951@txstate.edu.

Martha Wildberger: As the Grant Director, Ms. Wildberger is responsible for oversight of the program and the day-to-day operations of the training program.  She also provides field instruction for CWP students completing their field placement at CPS. Michele Bauman

Michele Bauman: As the Grant Coordinator, Ms. Bauman is responsible for budgeting, accounting, and providing general administrative assistance on the grant. You can reach Ms. Bauman at michele.bauman@txstate.edu.

The Child Welfare Partnership Team is housed in Office 123B at Encino Hall on the Texas State Campus in San Marcos, Texas.
