Dr. KeriAnne Moon, LCSW

Professor of Instruction

Dr. KeriAnne Moon (she/her/hers) joined the School of Social Work in 2014. She earned her MSW from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003 and a Doctorate in Social Work from Capella University in 2013. She has experience as a clinical social worker in various settings including outpatient, school (public and self-contained alternative programs), sexual abuse survivor treatment program, and child abuse prevention. Dr. Moon is licensed in three states (Minnesota - LICSW, North Dakota - LCSW, and Texas LCSW-S) and continues to practice in outpatient and telehealth settings. Dr. Moon’s research interests include childhood trauma, mental health interventions, and online educational tools and best practices for reaching social work students. Dr. Moon teaches a variety of practice courses and is the Curriculum Lead for the BSW and MSW practice courses.
